Before arriving at The Windows, you should stop at two other fascinating viewpoints, Balanced Rock and a little while later the Garden Of Eden.
Balanced Rock is one of the main attractions of the park, located directly at the main road shortly before the intersection with the road leading to The Windows. It’s a huge piece of stone (100 feet wide and tall) “balancing” on top of a pedestal about 50 feet from its base.
Although very close to The Windows, the Garden of Eden receives few visitors outside of those who stop at its roadside pullout. In the Garden, there are some spectacular arches, slickrock domes and the best of it, very view people.
Directions
Starting at the visitor center, follow the main road for about 9 miles until you reach the intersection with the road towards The Windows. Balanced Rock is located to your right immediately before you reach this intersection. Take a right at the intersection and Garden Of Eden will be to your left after about another mile.
