TRavel - EXplore - ENjoy ... trexen.net
My wife and I love to travel (with a focus on hiking and off road driving) and photography is very close to our heart. Over all the years we had the luxury to visit a number of great places and by doing so we collected a large amount of information, pictures and other useful stuff. After a couple of travels we started to run into the usual problems - how to remember some details, how to share our pictures with our friends and family, etc. So we created our own website to share our impressions; it will never be completely correct or finished - but we hope you'll enjoy it.
If you are just interested in pictures, go straight to our GALLERY, otherwise check out our TRAVEL REPORTS that include directions, background information, maps, etc. Please note, if you want to enjoy all our pictures in high quality, make sure you run your browser in full screen mode to allow the pictures to be displayed without resizing.

December 2012 - Bryce Canyon, Updated Pictures
After a few years we came back to Bryce Canyon. but this time with much better cameras as in 2005 so we decided to replace most of the pictures we published in the past.
October 2012 - Grand Staircase Escalante
With approximately 7,600 square km the Grand Staircase is the largest US National Monument. It stretches from the towns of Big Water, Glendale and Kanab, Utah in the Southwest, to the towns of Escalante and Boulder in the Northeast. There are three main regions: the Grand Staircase, the Kaiparowits Plateau, and the Canyons of the Escalante.
